Why general AI chatbots aren't built for kids
When a child uses a parent's account on a general AI chatbot, they get the same interface an adult does. No age gating. No content boundaries built for kids. No way for a parent to see what's happening. That's a real problem — and it's what Applaa is built to solve.

How Applaa keeps kids safe
These aren't marketing promises — they're features that ship in every copy of Applaa Builder today.
Real-time content filter
Every chat message, AI tool input, app build prompt, and game idea is checked before reaching the AI — and the AI's reply is checked before reaching your child. Profanity, violence, sexual content, self-harm, personal info, and off-platform contact attempts are blocked instantly.
Age-aware tiers
Three tiers — kids (5–10), tweens (11–13), teens (14–20). Younger tiers have stricter rules. Parents can override the tier or lock it in Settings.
Blocks "move off-platform"
Applaa detects when anyone tries to redirect a chat to WhatsApp, Discord, Instagram, Snapchat or phone — and blocks it. Secret-keeping pressure and photo requests are flagged.

applaa.com/dashboard shows your child's apps, lessons completed, AI tools used, and a weekly safety summary (categories only — never the raw message).
No ads. No tracking pixels.
Applaa is free, ad-free, and we don't embed third-party tracking on children. The Builder works offline; the dashboard is opt-in.
